After several weeks on the road, Adam takes his annual leave and some well-deserved R&R with his wife Jen who flew out to meet him.

Next stop? Cabo de Palos, Murcia!

May 9 - Great internet speed!

The internet speed at the apartment at Cabo de Palos was amazing!

"This allowed me to upload all the photos and videos quickly and I took full advantage of this to maximize my productivity without upsetting my wife too much ðŸ™‚" Adam

May 10 - Murcia stunning isthmus

Tuesday started out as a lazy day but being an entrepreneur, clocking off can sometimes be difficult so Adam checks in with one of HRLocker's potential investors. They talked about the purpose of the trip from an employee experience perspective and also to test the boundaries of flexible working.

During the afternoon Adam and Jen walk around Murcia and shoot a few really good clips. Murcia has an isthmus with intense salty water bay on one side, and the Mediterranean on the other, stunning!

May 11 - Meeting Javi and his Family

Adam and Jen meet with Javi, HRLockers development manager. Javier and his wife Eva are extremely welcoming and it was fantastic to meet his two girls.

They talked about the importance of family and how it was so important to be able to blend home life with work.

During their chats over dinner, Javi tells Adam what led him to apply for the job. The work-life blend which allows him to focus on family life was very important to him and what made HRLocker stand out as a Company.

"I realised that Javi had embraced our culture and how we worked more than I had thought, and this made me very proud of what we had built so far." Adam Coleman

May 12 - Spanish? HRLocker's 2nd language?

"My love for the ancient evolving world was brought up again with a visit to Cartagena." Adam

Cartagena is a wonderful city with Roman ruins. The Moor influence enhanced the city and it was clear how proud the city was of its history. One interesting thing was that not many people spoke English.

"It made me reflect that it's such a  shame that so many people in Ireland do not speak the Irish Language. Being an English-speaking country is great for International Business, it's also saddening that we have lost so much of our culture." Adam

"If we were to embrace another language it would probably be Spanish. One of our business objectives is a US Market Entry, and Spanish will be a very important component of that.

The third language I promise will be Portuguese. To satisfy my love for Portugal, and also to attempt a South American entry but that is a few years away yet!" Adam

May 13 - Jen's last day in the South

Friday was the last day of Adam's holiday with his wife.

"We had a really nice day on the beach and enjoyed a wonderful meal in the Port of Cabo. I also took some time out to wash the sand from Bertha and get ready for the next chapter of the trip." Adam
